Louis was independent in his political
views, supporting measures of men
rather than parties or party emblems.
Louis died on December 28th,
1956, at 88 years of age.  He filled these
years full of plans, dreams, hard work
and constant activity.  He is remembered
as a man who was held in high esteem by
his family, his friends, and his business
